ICYMI, the inaugural Women's March took place in L.A. yesterday and it was nothing short of moving.
Amongst those who spoke at the event was Scarlett Johansson, who shared her feelings about the Time's Up initiative and how it is helping women all over the world find their voice in instances of sexual misconduct.
She also asked, "How could a person publicly stand by an organisation that helps provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?"
"Gender equality can't just exist outside ourselves — it must exist within. We must take responsibility not just for our actions, but for ourselves." - Actress Scarlett Johansson speaks at the Women's March in Los Angeles https://t.co/SGMjlDIoor pic.twitter.com/WAlD8miRq9

And followed up her question by stating, "I want my pin back, by the way."
ScarJo's comments are believed to be about James Franco, who was recently accused of sexual misconduct by at least five people.
Franco recently addressed the accusations with a statement on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, saying "The things that I heared were on Twitter are not accurate, but I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice, because they didn't have a voice for so long."
"So I don't want to shut them down in any way. I think it's a good thing and I support it...I can't live if there's restitution to be made. I will make it. So, if I've done something wrong, I will fix it. I have to."
Scarlett ended her speech on a positive note, saying, "It gives me hope that we are moving towards a place where our sense of equality can truly come from within ourselves."
