Could Delta Goodrem be planning to team up with her protégé Rachael Leahcar after ‘The Voice Australia’ ends?
According to The Herald Sun, the legally blind singer is tipped to be working with the reality show judge on a future track.
18 year-old Rachael, who will take to the stage tonight with the rest of ‘Team Delta’ to perform on the hit show, has previously spoken out about her excitement at singing with the 'Sitting On Top Of The World' star.
“I’ve waited ten years for this,” Rachael told Adelaide Now. “How often do you get to sing with your idol? It’s a dream come true.”
But, Rachael, who captivated the nation when she sang ‘La Vie En Rose’ in the blind auditions, may have to wait a while before she gets the chance to hit the studio with her idol.
When approached about the rumours of recording a duet together, a rep for Sony told the Herald Sun,
"I have not heard that.”
