This Former Shortland Street Star Will Play Princess Diana In Lifetime's 'Harry & Meghan' Movie
Lifetime's 'Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance' has found its leading man and lady, and now the actress playing Princess Diana has also been revealed.
Parisa Fitz-Henley - who portrays the Suits star & soon-to-be royal, Meghan Markle - took to Instagram earlier this week to reveal who'll be playing the late Princess.
"Oh hello, Diana," Fitz-Henley captioned the post, which has since been deleted. "This casting is bugging me OUT."
And there's a reason why some Shortland Street fans may think she looks pretty familiar...
Bonnie Soper starred as Morgan Braithwaite on the hit NZ soap from 2008-2009, and now she'll portray Diana in the forthcoming flick.
The kiwi actress shared her excitement on IG, writing: "Words can’t describe."
According to ET, the film will "chronicle the courtship and love story between Prince Harry and the former Suits star, from the moment they first met after being set up on a blind date by friends to the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Markle's life as a divorced American actress."
An official premiere date is yet to be announced, but it's rumoured to air before the royal wedding on May 19.
