Those lucky enough to attend Snoop Dogg and Nelly's exclusive gig last night at Sydney's Star City Casino witnessed their very own slice of hip hop history.
A whole host of Aussie celebs including Kate Ritchie, Nikki Phillips, Rachael Finch and Jessica Mauboy walked the red carpet before the event, billed as a co-headline show between the two rap heavyweights.
But the already-hyped gig soon became one of the biggest hip hop spectacles Australia has ever seen, as superstars The Game, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Spliff Star stormed the stage!
The night began with Nelly smashing out crowd pleasers 'Hot in Herre', 'Country Grammar' and 'Grills'. Next up it was Snoop Dogg's turn to rock the house with big hitters 'What's My Name', 'Beautiful', 'The Next Epsiode' and more - but no-one could've predicted what happened next.
The galaxy of Supafest stars who had turned out to support their peers rushed the stage during Snoop's set to join him in a number of impromptu tracks! To the crowd's delight, artists including The Game, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Spliff Star joined Snoop for the remainder of his set as well as laying down a solid hour of freestyling.
Snippets of tracks performed included Terror Squad's 'Lean Back', The Game's 'Hate It Or Love It', Busta Rhymes''Pass The Courvoisier' and Spliff Star and T-Pain's 'Bartender'.
The epic night finished on a high when Snoop performed 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and his own rendition of Kris Kross' 'Jump' with all his famous friends still on stage.
We're still reeling from the superstar overload of last night, but if the Star City gig is any indication, Supafest 2011 is definitely going to be the hottest ticket in town...
