Steve Aoki talks upcoming 'Neon Future' album
American DJ and producer Steve Aoki has opened up about his forthcoming album 'Neon Future,' revealing that fans can expect some seriously big-name collaborations.
Sitting down with Entertainment Tonight, Aoki revealed that will.i.am, Snoop Dogg, Machine Gun Kelly, Mac Miller, Waka Flocka and Linkin Park will all feature on the record, which is set to be released on Ultra Music this summer.
“Whenever I work with different artists I expand as a song writer, as a producer, and I always want to try and find that bridge between my world and their world," the Dim Mak don revealed.
"And that’s what we did with the Linkin Park collaboration, 'A Light That Never Comes.' Find that place between the Linkin Park world and the EDM world."
Setting out the "break down genres," the 36-year-old Los Angeles producer recently wrapped up his Aokify American Tour, which featured guest appearances from Waka Flocka, Borgore and Pharrell Williams.
