Steve From 'Stranger Things' Says He'll Shave His Iconic Locks If Hopper Wins A Golden Globe
Joel Keery AKA Stranger Things' reformed jerk-jock Steve Harrington is reknowned both inside and outside of the series for his luscious locks (shoutout four puffs of Farrah Fawcett spray!) but he may be about to part ways with them!
The Demogorgon hunter-turned-world's best babysitter has vowed to chuck a Britney, if his co-star David Harbour (that's Sherriff Hopper for those playing at homes) wins big at the Golden Globes.
After Harbour was nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television category (yeah, it's a mouthful), the actor took to Instagram to make a celebratory post.
Keery then chimed in, pledging to let Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers shave him bald if Hop beats out the stiff competition (which includes Big Little Lies‘ Alexander Skarsgard, Feud‘s Alfred Molina, Mr. Robot‘s Christian Slater, and Fargo‘s David Thewlis).
“if you win David the Duffer’s get to shave my head," he commented.
Not sure how to feel about this. Could Steve end up channelling some Eleven circa season 1 vibes for Stranger Things 3? At least he'll be able to donate his collection of Fabergé Organics haircare products to Dustin.
Needless to say, we'll all be on the edge of our seats during next year's Golden Globes, which are going down on Monday, 8th January.
