David Genat Has An Update For Fans Who Are Holding Out For An Aus Vs USA Survivor
We're all still here basking in the glow of the Golden God's triumphant victory in Australian Survivor: All Stars. Yup, he might just be the greatest Survivor player to have ever hit the island.
But the real question on fans’ lips is whether David Genat’s the greatest Survivor player to grace this Earth and begs an Aussie versus USA Survivor series.
David had a chat to MTV Australia on MTV Recess and put our questions to bed: would there be an Aus v USA head-to-head in the future?
“I don’t want to disappoint fans, but I don’t think Australia/US will happen just because of the production companies and the way licensing is – it could be tricky to get that done,” he said.
He does spit a lot of reason, damn it.

The Golden God also said that the rival series was what he’d originally thought All Stars was going to be.
“When I was asked to play again, they didn’t say it was going to be an All Stars season. They were like ‘We want you again, we’re doing another season,’ and then I was like, ‘Woah, okay.’ Then all of these rumours started floating around about Australia versus US and I got very excited about that,” David revealed.
We definitely would be too…
But fear not! He did confirm he’ll be heading to the States to compete in their Survivor, and you better believe we’ll be supporting him from all the was across the ocean!
Although not for another year or two – this boy’s got a serious game plan up his sleeve and we’ll wait…
