Taika Waititi & Chris Hemsworth Hilariously Respond To Jack Black's 'Battle Of The Jams' Challenge
Thor: Ragnarok has cracked over $650 million at the box-office, but it seems not everyone is happy with the flick.
Jack Black has hilariously called out the film for copying the School of Rock - the Marvel blockbuster used Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song', just like SOR did.
"It’s come to my attention that someone kind of stole that part of our movie and put it in their movie," Jack said, in a vid posted to Instagram.
"hat’s right, I’m talking about Thor: Ragnarok. Totally bit our style, totally poached our jam and now they are parading around town like they thought of it!”
Well, Taika was the first to react, and he reposted the clip, and put all the blame on Chris Hemsworth.
"@chrishemsworth He distinctly said "THOR" so you're on your own bro. #battleofthejams," Taika wrote in response.
Chris aka Thor had the best reaction to the video:
"We would've used your song, but as you said in you song 'this is not the greatest song'," he said. #ROASTED
Two things are now clear:
1) Jack Black NEEDS to star in the next installment of Thor.
2) The 'Thor: Ragnarok' cast are as entertaining off-screen.
