Taika Waititi Confirms What We Do In The Shadows Sequel, We're Wolves
America is getting their own What We Do In The Shadows spinoff series, and now Taika Waititi has also confirmed rumours a sequel is the works.
While promoting his latest flick Thor: Ragnarok, the kiwi director revealed a second flick is in the works & Jemaine Clement will also return to co-direct it.
The actors will also reprise their roles as the hilarious Wellington based vampires, Vladislav and Viago.
"The rumour's true," he told Build Series NYC. "We're going to co-direct."
"You're not going to see it for seven years. We are notoriously terrible at writing together, Jemaine and I," he admitted.
"It normally takes place over emails, and so we'll email each other one line of dialogue once a month. And that's why What We Do in the Shadows took six years to write."
"It bascially follows the group of werewolves [from the first film], and the movie's called We're Wolves. We are wolves. Werewolves. Get it? It's a word play."
So although we might have to wait, at least we know We're Wolves is definitely in the pipeline.
