Taika Waititi Is Working On An American TV Version Of What We Do In The Shadows
Listen up What We Do In The Shadows fans, Taika Waititi just confirmed he's planning another spin-off TV series.
The kiwi director recently revealed America might be getting their very own show based on the popular vampire comedy.
"We're trying to develop a U.S. version of What We Do in the Shadows," he told Fandango.
"You know, set here in the states, but a T.V. show."
Taika also confirmed that the already announced spinoff featuring two cops from the original flick, is still going ahead.
ICYMI. Paranormal Event Response Unit is a series created by both Jemaine Clement and Taika.
"We're also trying to start shooting in New Zealand," Taika continued.
"A spin-off following the two cops from the movie, as a sort of mockumentary X-Files [that takes place in] a certain small New Zealand town where they investigate paranormal activity."
And don't worry, because the third WWDITS project titled 'We're Wolves' is still in the pipeline:
"We're still trying to write that," Taika revealed. "We're doing those [other shows] as well as trying to come up with ideas for this werewolf movie. It will happen!"
