Breaking: The DJ Suing Taylor Swift Has Had His Case Thrown Out
ICYMI, Taylor Swift has been embroiled in a legal battle with radio DJ David Mueller who claims that he was fired after the 1989 singer revealed that he groped her at a meet-and-greet back in 2013.
The judge presiding over the case has now determined that Mueller’s case is unfounded, given that there was not enough evidence to prove that Taylor personally set out to have him fired.
Over the past week, details about the incident have come to light, with Taylor’s mum breaking down in a Denver courtroom whilst recounting the impact that it has had on the ‘Shake It Off’ singer.
Taylor also took to the witness stand yesterday, branding the incident a “despicable and horrifying and shocking” encounter, telling the court, “He stayed attached to my bare ass-cheek as I lurched away from him. It was a definite grab. A very long grab.”
Taylor’s lawsuit against Mueller will still stand, with the singer countersuing Mueller for $1 over the groping incident.
