Here's Every F*ck You Taylor Swift Served In The 'Look What You Made Me Do' Video
Taylor Swift just dropped one of the most iconic videos of her entire career. Spanning just over 4 minutes, the hidden gems behind the visuals for Look What You Made Me Do, are stoking the draaaaaama fire.
We decided to break down the digs, it's pure speculation but let's DISCUSS.
The claws are defs out for Kanye. Fistly, Taylor reclaims the throne that Kanye & Jay-Z established back in 2011, by sitting in his iconic golden chair.
But if that wasn't obvious enough, how about that reference to Kim Kardashian's Snapchat exposure of T-Swizzle on International SNAKE day, through all of them venemous creatures.
Lastly, we have the word's "ET TU BRUTE", taken from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, which is often used express shock and anger when a friend betray's you.
There are a few moments in this music video which seemingly look like attacks at this years VMA Host.
First up, let's check out Taylor wearing a cat mask. FYI: Katy Perry's fan club are nicknamed Katy Kats, so... make of that what you will.
Next, let's observe this scene where the leopard-coat-wearing character responds "getting receipts" when asked "what are you doing".
CLEARLY, this references the Swish Swish lyric where Katy sings "karma's not a liar / She keeps receipts". ICYMI: Katy wrote Swish Swish to retaliate Taylor's Bad Blood beef... so... we think it's safe to say Taylor is hitting back.
BUT, If you're not sold on that, let's just look at this character's haircut. Short hair, definitely care.
And, this Katy-character gets herself into a car crash and dies. Like, are you saying her career is dead Taylor?
Lastly, if you thought those were all the shots that were fired, check again, because Taylor flexes her Grammy to the camera, which is something Katy Perry is yet to achieve. Yikes!
This one is a little more hidden. But the music video begins in a graveyard after Taylor declears the death of her reputation. But, if you look closely it looks like we're also mourning the death of Nils Sjöberg.
If you don't know who Nils Sjöberg is don't worry, we're here to remind you. Nils Sjöberg was the pseudonym for Taylor Swift in the writing credits for the song This Is What You Came For, which she co-wrote. Look's like she's dead now through, along with the rest of the old Tay-Tays.
Looks like Taylor is completely over her relationship with Tom Hiddleston. Proof? The infamous I Heart T.S. shirt that was once worn by the former boyfriend is now back in Taylor's life, but on her incredible back up dancers instead.
Oh, well we definielty hope this isn't true. But some people on the Twittersphere think that this scene, where Taylor is bathing in a bath full of diamonds, is a reference to the robbery of Kimmy K in Paris.
Some are even pointing to Taylor's hand mimicking a gun as proof.
We really hope not.
Check the video and analyse for yourself...
