The Bachelor NZ's Naz Slams Jordan Mauger Over His Winter Games Heartbreak
Safe to say things didn't work out for Jordan Mauger on The Bachelor NZ.
Last year, Mauger revealed he flipped a coin when deciding who was going to receive the final rose out of Naz Khanjani & Fleur Verhoeven.
"I knew it was very likely it wouldn’t work out with anybody,” he told The Spinoff, “but if you sign up to something, you see it through.”
ICYMI, Mauger recently appeared on the popular US spinoff The Bachelor Winter Games & while his co-star Lily McManus found love, he's since revealed he wasn't so lucky...
The reality star hit it off with US Bachelor star Bibiana Julian, but things didn't work out.
"It really hurt, because you're vulnerable when you put yourself out there. I'm so happy I got to that place, but I fell hard and it hurt," he told Woman's Day.
"It was the energy she gave off...it was one of those playful conversations that's just buttery and delicious," he continued.
"I found myself giggling, kissing and cuddling a person I barely knew and was blown away but also freaking out, wondering why this never happened once in my season."
"There's a stigma that follows me around like a bad smell in New Zealand and I know I'm not going to shake it...Now that I've distanced myself from The Bachelor NZ, people are starting to realise who I really am," he said.
"It's taken two years, but hopefully I can get back into that space where the old Jordan can be influential and start doing some good."
Well, Naz wasn't impressed with Mauger's comments and slammed his on-screen romance as "a load of sh*t."
"He changes his story to whatever he needs it to be at the time," she told Newshub.
"As soon as [our season] stopped filming, he would turn around and say things to me like, 'I wish it was you', and stuff like that. But then he came out with the whole 'coin flip' thing.
"It's hard to believe anything he says anymore."
Naz said she thought he needed to "grow some balls" and "stop blaming everybody else for his actions".
"He needs to man up," she added. "I wouldn't be surprised if even what he had with this girl was just for show."
