Long supporters of emerging Australian music, Tooheys Extra Dry has opened the revered competition to original solo artists, as well as bands, and on top of that have unrivalled prize packs that are enough to prod anyone into action.
For the last four weeks, Tooheys Extra Dry uncharTED competition 1 2009 round 1 has been live and kickin’, showcasing the country’s Top 50 emerging artists.
Esteemed media partners The Music Network, MTV, MySpace and a Street Press Collective have each chosen one artist as their media pick, to automatically secure a spot in the semi-finals, which are now live. It was no mean feat – this year, Tooheys Extra Dry uncharTED garnered over 2,300 entries!

We are proud to announce the Top 6 publically voted artists are (in no particular order) Sydney bands Bridgemary Kiss, The Falls, OnlyTheSeaSlugs and The Deer Republic, Melbournites Foxx On Fire and Perth band French Rockets.
