Audrina Hits The Big Screen
Audrina Patridge seems to be getting around these days!
No, we don’t mean in the boyfriend department; we mean Audrina has finally landed herself a gig on the big screen. Not for just one film, but quite a few if you are to believe various rumours…
The Vodafone MTV Australia Awards Red Carpet host will star remake of the 1983 slasher film ‘The House on Sorority Row’ alongside Bruce Willis’ daughter Rumer Willis (the one that kinder has the big chin), actress Briana Evigan from ‘Step Up 2 The Streets,’ and Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia.
Audrina will play Megan, a sorority girl who gets killed by her fellow sisters in an accidentally prank gone terribly wrong. The murder is covered up and the sorority sisters promise never to speak of Megan’s death ever again. But in all true horror films, revenge seems so much sweeter. Megan (Audrina) apparently reeks revenge on her fellow friends as she tries to avenge her death.
The straight to DVD film will be released in October this year.
But the reality starlet has also snagged herself the lead in the sequel to ‘Into The Blue 2: The Reef’ as Jessica Alba’s sexy replacement. And she is set to appear in the television comedy ‘My Name is Earl, as Alice Moore - Earl’s daughter, as well as being cast in the 2009 thriller ‘The Silent Killer’. The film is scheduled to begin productions in July.
We thinks Audrina has a thing for the scary movies!
But that’s not all the busy Audrina has got her manicured claws into. According to PerezHilton.com, Audrina has apparently signed up with Mark Burnett Productions to do her own Hills spin-off.
Burnett said, "We are truly pleased to have the chance to work with Audrina. She has already proved her star quality, and we can't wait to show her fans worldwide the next stage of her life and career."
However, the show has yet to be picked up; it will be pitched to the networks very soon.
