Adam Brody Acknowledges That He’s Totally OK With Being Known As Seth Cohen From ‘The OC’
Let’s be honest, we’ve all referred to Adam Brody as “Seth Cohen from The O.C.” at least once in our lives, and it looks like Adam is totally A-OK with that.
Appearing at the screening of his new series StartUp in Los Angeles on Thursday, Adam spoke about his O.C. days on the red carpet and acknowledged that he understands why he will forever be known as old mate Seth.
“I was so happy to be on a show that emulated 90210 and to have a big pop culture character in my past; I’ll probably always be known as Seth Cohen, but that’s OK,” Adam told ET.
“I don’t know if it’s this generation or all generations, but I had that same affinity for high school movies.”
Adam also spoke about the difference between show's early and later seasons.
“It was three and a half seasons and over a decade ago,” he said. “ I think anyone who watched the show would agree that it wasn’t nearly the same show toward the end.”
“If you did 10 or 15 [episodes] per season like you do now, it would have been a different animal; I think the quality could have maintained a lot longer. The first season was 27 episodes, and we just burned through so much story.”
Despite the fact that The O.C. aired on telly more than 14 years ago, we’re glad that Seth Cohen’s legacy still lives on.
