Happy Friday: The Pussycat Dolls Have Just Dropped Their First Single Since 2009
When one of your favourite noughties bands announces that they’re back together, excitement is always mixed with trepidation. The bar is high, and no one wants a fall from grace scenario; not for The Pussycat Dolls.
It was with this apprehension that we tentatively clicked play on The PCD’s new single, “React” when it dropped today. Of course, we should never have doubted them.
"React" isn’t a classic – it’s no "Jai Ho" – but it's still super poppy, fun and a little techno, too. Have a listen below.
The comeback single comes just a few months before The Pussycat Dolls' tour down under in April. The group is on the bill for this year’s SO POP concert, where they’ll be joined by Jesse McCartney, Smash Mouth, Sophie Ellis Baxter and other childhood faves. There’s still some tickets left if you feel like getting your groove on to some classics. Head here for all the info.
As for us, we're standing by for their "React" music video (of which we've got a lil sneak preview below) that's dropping tomorrow. Knowing The PCD it'll be everything.
