TLC to reunite for Mixtape Festival!
Children of the nineties, all your wildest dreams are about to come true, as ‘No Scrubs’ hitmakers TLC are getting set to reunite for Pennsylvania’s Mixtape Festival this July!
Hip-hop icons Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas – the surviving members of the chart-topping girl group – will be teaming up once again for the festival, having performed only a few sporadic shows since the death of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes more than a decade ago.
But the ode to the nineties doesn’t end there, with New Kids on the Block and Hanson also on the bill for the festie, which runs over two days at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania from July 26-27.
“We are so thrilled to bring back the Mixtape Festival to Hershey,” said Live Nation spokesperson Geoff Gordon in a statement, according to MTV News.
“There's an incredible line-up and tons of interactive and fun activities, all while being set at a world-class amusement park – it's really a pop music lovers dream.”
Other acts on the bill include the Jonas Brothers, Train, The Script, OneRepublic, Run-DMC co-founder Rev Run & DJ Ruckus, as well as MKTO, Gavin Degraw and a DJ set from Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.
