MTV is stoked to announce the Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Bone Thugs N Harmony The West Coast Originals Tour!

After weathering several years of Dogg absence, (thanks to a ban from government officials last year due to 'character issues') Aussie audiences are finally receiving some Doggy reprieve with the news of Snoops mammoth Australasian tour with two of hip-hops finest.

It took years of grind time for Snoop to reach this point in his illustrious career.   In a genre where big names come and go just as fast as hit records, Snoop Dogg has not only managed to stay relevant throughout his 16-plus years in the game, but expand his empire from music to movies, video games to clothing lines and now his own hit TV show (E!'s reality series Snoop Dogg's Father Hood).

Joining the Doggfather is Ice Cube; known in the hip hop community to be one of the most important figures in rap history.   Begining his career with the Notorious West Coast Gangsta Rap Group N.W.A two decades ago, Ice Cube broke away to start a solo career at the height of the group's success.  By all accounts the move paid off; Ice Cube has sold over 10 million albums to date.  Now the Godfather of Gangsta Rap has once again taken centre stage with his ninth solo effort. the highly anticipated Raw Footage.

Hailed as redrawing the hip hop map, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are widely credited as expanding hip-hops geographic boundaries.  Comprised Cleveland, OH, natives Anthony "Krayzie Bone" Henderson, Charles "Wish Bone" Scruggs, Steve "Layzie Bone" Howse, and Byron "Bizzy Bone" McCane, Bones add major pulling power to what is already a tour of unified strength, lauding the popularity of hip-hop in the supposedly rock-swamped Aussie market.
