THE V FESTIVAL LINE UP HAS LANDED, with the iconic gathering once again stirring up a big V shaped storm of cranking talent, new stars and heroic music heavyweights for you to revel to throughout the autumn season.

Top class acts to be included in the volcano include the all-time legendary Smashing Pumpkins; classic crooners Duran Duran; riff rockers Queens Of The Stone Age; Scottish supergroup The Jesus And Mary Chain; French dynamos Air*; disco-indie CSS; modular missionmen Plug In City; and local hot stuffs The Presets and The Tough Alliance. They'll also include the sensational Cut Copy, Modest Mouse, Hot Hot Heat, Roisin Murphy, the Rakes and Glass Candy.

What's more, while former V festivals have been limited to Sydney and the Gold Coast, this year sees V going viral, with Melbourne and Perth launched into the vibe, making it a truly nation-wide Vesuvius.

Ans as you might remember from 2007's equally high-voltage bonanza, the fourth stage of the V Festival - the Virgin Mobile Venue - will still deliver the hottest DJs from New York, Paris and anywhere else in the world that vibrates with volume!
