All aboard ladies, this luxury super yacht is for you only
Luxury super yachts are known for their extravagance and accommodation of your every waking need. But now, luxury designer Lidia Bersani has attempted to fill the gender gap by creating the first luxury mega yacht with women as her inspiration and target market.
La Belle, or “the beauty” for any French noobs, is an 80-metre jewel of the sea. Literally decorated in crystal, gold, fur and flowers – none of which are fake and all of which, bespoke – the yacht is specifically for those that love a lavish and opulent style.
Bersani commented on her creation, stating, “[The] yacht is in distinctive Bersani Style, romantic and warm. The colours white, ivory and gold are predominant. Interior is full of opulent and comfortable elements.”
Men, don’t feel altogether left out as the vessel comfortably sleeps 12 guests in six deluxe cabins. If your strong, confident woman bids you aboard, we suggest you say follow no questions asked.
With canopies reminiscent of thrones, palace-like dining, private terraces, extravagant lounges and a large deck for sunning yourself after a long hard day of luxury – you will never be bored. Relax in a hydromassage pool, outdoor jacuzzi, an infra-red sauna, snow room or even douse yourself from an ice fountain. If the weather isn’t quite up to scratch, a lavish fireplace will warm your bones as well as a disco club with bars to boogie and a cinema to keep you entertained.
“The idea is to equip this super yacht with ultra-modern stabilising system and state of the art machinery and equipment,” said Bersani.
French chef, Stéphane Desormiere, who has 13 years of experience working on a similar 12-person super yacht, told the Daily Mail what it’s really like to work on such a superior vessel. “I have to be quick. There's not a lot of notice so you have to move fast and you can't be sleepy,” explained Desormiere. “Whatever the request, so long as I have the ingredients, I will make it.” Food made to order from the finest ingredients? Our idea of heaven.
Although the asking price is yet to be set, a helicopter landing pad atop the fifth deck (that’s right, five in total) is sure to break the bank of this travel writer. But we picture Rihanna or Beyonce possibly parking this baby outside their waterfront mansions. RSVP yes to that invite.
