BYE, MOVING: Japan Launches World's First 'Cat Cafe Train'
After thirteen years leading the trend of feline-friendly establishments, Japan just gone and one-upped themselves!
According to Eater, popular cat cafe Sanctuary is launching the first cat-filled train ride today, which includes a bento box lunch, dessert and plenty of adorable rescue kitties to play with.
The idea comes from a joint venture with Yoro Railway, which travels between the Gifu Prefecture's Ogaki and Ikeno stations, to help save all the stray cats that would otherwise be put down. :(
Tickets cost USD$27 and have been reserved for over a month!
Here's hoping its success will mean Cat Cafe Trains are here to stay...
