While Lost Paradise is only in its third year, the New Year's festival has cemented itself in our summer calendar with it's celebration of Aussie talent and unique combo of art, yoga and delectable dishes during the day.

Falls Festival is the perfect mix of music and art. Held across four locations, festival-goers get to witness stellar performances from Childish Gambino, London Grammar, The Avalanches and Violent Soho to name just a few.
Not to mention the grub on offer is a foodie's dream and there are plenty of pop-up bars and art installations inbetween to make the three-day affair one to remember.
3. Field Day
Pride yourselves on your skills to back, back, BACK-IT-UP? Well after ringing in 2017, it'd be a crime to waste New Year's Day resting your sore head!
With Childish Gambino and Chance The Rapper headlining the Sydney-based festival, no wonder it sold out as fast as it did. Clutch them tickets close and cross your fingers for belter weather, 'coz it's the perfect time to dust off the festival attire and start the year with a bang.
Street-Style Line Up: Field Day 2016
One of Australia's last travelling festivals, get your fix of Aussie and international talent without the hassle of flights. St. Jerome's Laneway Festival keeps getting bigger and bigger with six local shows across Australia and one abroad in Singapore. The best part? If you loved it once, you can catch it twice!
5. Secret Garden
Arguably the best way to end the summer, Secret Garden Festival kicks off February 24-25 for 48 hours of non-stop pure disco. When you walk into the enchanted forest, the rainbow basically exploded and if you're not in costume - you're doing it wrong.
Oh and did we mention there's no lineup yet? The Gardeners don't release it specifically until after the festival sells out so their punters are some of the best around.
