This Is The Best Place To Watch The Sunset In The World
If you think Bondi’s grassy knoll cuts it when it comes to catching the sunset, think again.
When it comes to finding a good sunset, simplicity is key. But where does one find unpolluted skies, balmy weather and the perfect purple orange hue?
Bali.
Specifically, Uluwatu’s new dayclub, OMNIA.
OMNIA, the latest addition to The Hakkasan Group's already impressive repertoire, is just a stone's throw (or bumpy buggy ride) from Uluwatu's equally-as-stunning Alila Villas.
While the "shortcut" to OMNIA from Alila is a road slightly less travelled, a world of luxe partying and mind-blowing views awaits.
Perched 80 metres above the stunning limestone cliffs of Uluwatu's Bukit Peninsula, OMNIA's uninterrupted views out over the Indian Ocean will be your first 'pinch yourself' moment...followed by The Cube.
The Cube is OMNIA's "cinematic piece de resistance" - a tower of shimmering silver which slowly lights up as the sun sets, creating an awe-inspiring visual effect, not to mention an Instagram-worthy photo opp.
A glittering infinity pool wraps around the club, seamlessly meeting the endless ocean views, and buzzing with stunning, scantily-clad Instagram models, partygoers and photographers keen to cash in on OMNIA's offering.
...And speaking of dayclub attire, there are only really two dress code rules at OMNIA: no thongs, and no beer-branded singlets. Which means the flip flops and Bintang tank top will have to stay in your suitcase for a slightly less glamorous occasion.
If you manage to peel your peepers off the peach purple skies at OMNIA you'll notice an abundance of poolside partying opportunities.
Whether you're sipping a cocktail from a pool bed, in a private plunge pool, or at the swim-up bar, OMNIA offers plenty of vantage points to bask in the serenity of it all.
If letting loose is more your jam, a VIP cabana tucked behind OMNIA's DJ booth should do the trick. OMNIA's decks have already been graced by the likes of EDM legends Martin Garrix and Marshmello, and with music at it's heartbeat, the club's roster is set to be nothing short of incredible.
There is, however, only so much Mumm champagne and dancing one traveller can handle, and that's where OMNIA's restaurant, Sake no Hana comes in.
Sake no Hana brings modern Japanese delicacies like fresh sashimi and carafes of sake to Uluwatu, all the way from it's flagship in London. Oh, and elevated above the party atmosphere below, Sake no Hana offers yet another gorgeous view of Bali's sunset.
So there you have it. With sunset views to die for, insane parties, and more delicious food and booze than you could ever want (or need), OMNIA is well worth the plane ticket to Bali...or at least a day off from Bondi's grassy knoll.
