5 Yummo Cocktails You Didn't Know You Could Make With Jack Daniel's
With winter just around the corner you can hear the groan of a thousand Aussies collectively preparing to say farewell to the beach.
But for those of us in the know, the cooler months are actually a godsend and the perfect opportunity to stay in, invite people over and throw some extremely ~toasty~ soirees. Come thru jomo.
Thanks to our mates over at Jack Daniel's we've decided to put together a list of truly delish cocktails that will take your house partay from snooze to "yeh boiiiiiiiii" real quick.
Just as refreshing as it sounds, the Mint Julep is for those who like a zing of flavour with their Jack. Heat water, mint and sugar over a saucepan then leave to cool. Add to some Gentleman Jack and leave to chill. Serve with mint and ice cubes.
60ml Gentleman Jack
20ml sugar syrup
10-12 mint leaves
Fire and Apple
Nothing is going to warm your bod in the winter time quite like a little bit of fire. Pour all of the ingredients in a glass over a generous helping of ice.
30ml Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire
juice of 1 freshly pressed apple
Similar to the vodka based Moscow Mule, except this donkey has got a lot more kick to him. And the best part is it's as simple as adding ginger beer, ice and lime juice to your Jack. How good.
45ml Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye
ginger beer, as needed
1 splash lime juice
If you've been feelin' the sting since Mad Men ended then fear not because this Whiskey Sour will fill that void. Add all the ingredients to the shaker and shake it like a polaroid picture. Serve with ice and a cherry on top if you're feeling flirty.
2 parts Gentleman Jack
1 part lemon juice
½ part sugar syrup
½ part egg white
Well this bad boy is going to lift any dreary weather. Add a little citrus spritz to your mood with this fresh cocktail. Mix all of the ingredients together and serve in a tall glass. Add a fun straw too because life is too short not to.
