The Good People Of Wollongong Are Fuming After They Paid Almost $100 To See Rapper Tyga & He Only Performed For 15 Minutes
Tyga, Tyga, Tyga you've just broken the cardinal rule of celebrity: thou shalt not stiff Australians of their hard earned cash. Tsk Tsk.
The US rapper was set to perform at the Towradgi Beach Hotel on Sunday night from 6pm til midnight with tickets going for up to $100.
Buuuuuuut things didn't exactly go to plan with witnesses claiming he only played for 15 minutes and fans are now demanding a refend.
According to reports from Daily Mail, DJs performed for four hours before Kylie Jenner's ex came on stage for a few songs and then the lights came on.
"$80 to listen to DJs play the same damn songs for more than four hours and have him only play for like 15 minutes? I want a damn refund," said a source.
The event promoter has now publicly apologised and maintains the snafu was out of his control.
"I’d like to apologise to everyone who came to the show and say that it’s out of our control," he said. "I understand people may have felt unhappy or underwhelmed, we did everything to provide a memorable experience and his team let everyone down."
No word yet on whether people will be getting their money back but we bet this'll be the last time Wollongong locals fork out that kinda cash for a Tyga show.
