Tyler, The Creator: Aussie Leg Of 'Cherry Bomb' Tour CANCELLED
Sorry to break it to you guys; Tyler, The Creator won't be bringing his 'Cherry Bomb' World Tour to Australia.
Scheduled to begin next month, Frontier touring regrettably announced today that the Odd Future rapper wouldn’t be playing to an Aussie audience amid a petition calling for Tyler's visa to be denied.
"We would much rather come to Australia when it isn't surrounded in controversy. I love my fans there and hopefully I'll be back soon. Don't do drugs,” Tyler, The Creator said in a statement.
Director of Operations at Collective Shout, Coralie Alison has been lobbying to deny the rapper entry into the country for his violent and misogynistic lyrics.
In earlier Tweets, T claimed he was banned from Australia despite there being no official decision yet and it’s unclear whether his Visa was actually denied in the end.
T IS NOW BANNED FROM AUSTRALIA, YOU WON @CoralieAlison IM HAPPY FOR YOU <3
