Vanessa Hudgens Lost Nearly 5 Kilos By Cutting Out One Thing From Her Diet
Vanessa Hudgens reckons she managed to shed 4.5 kilos of body fat just by binging on... fats?
The High School Musical gratuate has just graced the cover of Women's Health mag and dished her tricks for maintaining such a fit physique, saying it's all about a high-fat diet.
"I eat a whole avocado every day. I need high fats. If I’m not getting enough, my body holds on to calories,' the 28-year-old Powerless star dished to the glossy.
"We’ve been trained to think that fats are bad, but they’re so good – a source of energy and sustenance that keeps you going through the day."
But potato is apparently a big no-no.
"High fats and no carbs," the actress added. "When I ate carbs, I would get that dip in the afternoon, where I felt really sluggish. When I’m off them, my energy stays consistent throughout the day."
Hudgo reckons a regime of chowing down on snacks like eggs, bacon, avocado, chicken, grilled salmon, steak, salad or sautéed veggies has helped her lose around 4.5 kilos of body fat.
"Since I got back to eating like this the last month or so, I’ve lost 10 pounds. That’s a lot for my [5’1”] height," she told the mag.
According to her Insty, 'Ness is also pretty big on the old Flat Tummy Teas. Definitely looks like they're working!
