Vicky Pattison: 'I Came Out Of The Jungle Desperate To Start A Family'
She burst on to our screens and into our hearts back in 2011 as a foul-mouthed, Newcastle lass when Geordie Shore first premiered.
And our love is still strong for Vicky Pattison.
While she might have departed the infamous reality TV show, she has never been far with stints as a presenter, honing her body for excercise DVD's and becoming an ~online influencer~.
But in recent years she has found a calling...in the jungle. In 2015 she won the UK 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' and this year she was a contestant on the Aussie version.
One of the best #tbt posts I will ever upload and a one that almost makes me cry... I don’t want to keep harping on about my time in the jungle- did I mention I did the jungle again?! 😂🙈! But I wanted to say one last time, now that I’m home, not only on British soil but in Newcastle that I am grateful- for the opportunity I was given, for the campmates who became friends, for the people who voted for me, the crew who grafted to make me look good and to the Australian public who accepted me!!!! I love you all!!! 💙 And huge THANKYOU to my girl @vickypquotes for this edit!!! And @chloeferrypost for always repping me too! 😍 @joshgibson06 @moannn @peterrowsthorn @thefionaoloughlin @jackiegilliestv
We recently sat down with the 30-year-old where she told us that she's finally ready to settle down.
"I did a huge 180 and ended up coming out of the jungle pretty much desperate to start a family," she said after previously stating she did not want to be a mother. "I didn’t think I’d be a good mum. I thought Id be too selfish, but then you sit there in the jungle and think ‘I am caring for people that I just met’."
She also went on to say that she is looking to put work aside and focus on her future with fiance, John Noble.
"I’m finally prioritising my personal time over my professional. And its not that I don’t still love my job, it's that it would mean nothing without John. So family, kids, nice house, I’d love a dog," she said.
But when she does slot some professional time in to her schedule it might be a lot closer to us.
"I’d like to work more in Australia, that would be nice!"
There's a spot on our couch anytime you need it, Vic.
