7 Reasons Why Vinny & Pauly D Is The Bromance 2019 Needs
Jersey Shore OGs Vinny Guadagnino and Paul 'Pauly D' DelVecchio have enjoyed a decade-long bromance. Now, at long last, the fist-pumping BFFs are stealing the spotlight in their brand new spinoff series Double Shot At Love, which is taking over our screens from next month, and tbh we are PUMPED higher than Pauly D's gravity-defying hair do. Here are 7 reasons why we reckon Vinny & Pauly D is the bromance 2019 needs.
1. Two Heads Are Better Than One
Move over, The Bachelor (and all other reality TV dating shows for that matter) because the East Coast kings will be injecting some much-missing mateship into the tired old dating show formula. Imagine if the Honey Badger had one of his best bros alongside him on his TV journey to find romance? Not only would it have been A++ viewing, he definitely wouldn't have ended up alone in the season finale, because (spoiler alert) #friendship is the greatest love of all
Which brings us to...
2. The Ultimate Wingmen
Being a good wingman is the cornerstone of any true bromance, and these guys are taking wingman duties to the next level on Double Shot At Love. No more gymming, tanning and laundry (well maybe just a little), the dudes are done mucking around and are putting in the hard yards to help each other find their true ride-or-dies #nawww
3. We Do Legitimately Want Them To Find Love
OK, so no judgement here, but Vinny did just admit in an interview to "being with" over 500 women in his time. We're sure that makes for an impressive brag when he's hanging around "the boys", but the fact that his number #1 boy Pauly D is willing to help him leave his his playboy ways in the past in the hope of finding his one true love is the kind of self-sacrifice that makes for an inspirational brotherly bond.
Plus, right now, Vinny and Pauly are the only two Jersey Shore stars not with a significant other (aside from Jenni "JWoww" Farley who's sadly going through a divorce), so seeing them successfully coupled off will tbh satisfy our meddling romantic OCD.
4. Their Classic One Liners
Let's face it. In our increasingly bleak and depressing world, Vinny & Pauly D's goofball humour will inject some forehead-slap-worthy LOLs of joy back into our daily routines. We NEED this.
5. Role Models?
Look, as far as male friendships go, these two have stuck together through thick and thin. And their occasionally R-rated jokes aside, so many of their moments together are just so. damn. wholesome.
6. The Fist Pumps And Dance Moves
Need we say more?
7. The Double-Dating Potential
Just imagine the entertaining possibilities of a sequel spin-off series where we get to watch the boys' relationships progress through a series of double-dates. Eventually even a double-wedding? The possibilities are endless, is what we're saying.
