It’s been long time coming, but Weezer fans it’s time to get excited - as the rockers have just announced that they will return to Australia and New Zealand next year!
“Weezer is returning to tour Australia for the first time in over 15 years!” the band revealed on their official website.
“Theres been a lot of roadblocks tossed in the way over the years, but we have finally cleared the road... er, flightpaths... and are absolutely thrilled to finally return to the ancient and goodly Land of Down Under!”
The American alternative rock band, made up of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Scott Shriner, will hit our shores on January 13 after they’ve said hello to our Kiwi brothers and sisters.
Yes that’s right!

The last time the boys were over this side of the world was back in 1996 for their ‘Pinkerton’ tour, and since then the rockers have dropped a whopping seven albums!
