Single Review: Wes Carr
Australian Idol winner, Wes Carr, has followed up his highly successful debut single ‘You’, with an absolute cracker of a rock number.
‘Feels Like Woah’ is infectious from the first beat; Carr's ability to catch the ear of the public, with his rock-infused pop, will see last year's Australian Idol winner a firm favourite with music buying Aussies for a while to come.
‘Feels Like Woah’ has been picked up by the NRL (that's the National Rugby League, for all you aerial ping-pong loving Victorians) as the 2009 theme song. Simply, it’s a phenomenal achievement from an artist who has toiled away for many a year prior to appearing on Australian Idol.
If you’re after an up-lifting Australian rock track, one that's purpose built for the great Aussie tradition of the road trip, then look no further than ‘Feels Like Woah’. As an added bonus for those who still fork out for the physical album, you'll find a bonus acoustic track for the b-side: ‘Gone For Good’ doesn't appear on Carr's album ‘The Way The World Looks’, so that's certainly a bonus.
