A$AP Rocky and Wiz Khalifa heading Perth’s Origin NYE festival
Fans of the ‘Black and Yellow’ rapper will be stoked to have him perform in Australia for the very first time, while the appearance will mark only the second time A$AP Rocky has visited our shores – having played sold out shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth in June.
Organisers released the official festival lineup yesterday, which features even more big name acts including Flux Pavilion, Kill The Noise and Julio Bashmore – who will play across three stages in the heart of Perth’s CBD.
Each stage will be devoted to specific genres, with the main stage promising to be hip-hop, trap and dubstep heavy, a second stage more focused on drum & bass and a third featuring house, garage and electronic acts.
Origin will take place at Ozone Reserve in Perth on Tuesday December 31 and according to the festival’s official Facebook page, pre-sale tickets are already flying out the door.
More acts are set to be announced in October, but here is the lineup so far:
