OK So It Looks Like Zac Efron & Byron Bae Vanessa Valladares Didn’t Actually Break Up

We're so sorry but Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Valladares appear to be doing fine.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares seem to be back on – if, in fact, they did break up, that is. Which, we're now thinking they didn't.

Last week, rumours had swirled that the American actor and the Aussie waitress he'd met at Byron Bay General Store had called it quits after a whirlwind, five-month romance. A source had told The Sun, "sadly, fate wasn't on their side" and that "Zac's work and the enforced distance has really its toll."

But, from the looks of these new pics of Vanessa visiting Zefron in South Australia (where he's filming his latest movie Gold), the couple seem to still be very much on.

In the snaps, Zanessa 2.0 (the OG being him and Vanessa Hudgens) can be seen leaving a work out, him wearing a singlet, her a bra top, both of them looking ridiculously fit and glowing. So, yes, that did appear to confirm they're still a thing.

While the break-up rumours did make sense – Zac will likely need to be in SA for a bit filming, while Ness is of course Byron-based, not to mention the fact Zac had been seen out partying at Adelaide bar Crybaby without Vanessa – there was an equal amount of good stuff to go against.

Back when Vanessa threw Zac a surprise party for his 33rd birthday with a heap of celebs including Kyle Sandilands for some reason, the host had said: "He absolutely loves Australia."

"He's in love with this girl Vanessa," Kyle said. "They're lovely. Beautiful couple. They do everything together. They're just really sweet, and they're lovely."

A People source had also said at the time: "Zac and Vanessa are very happy. They celebrated Zac's birthday with friends before the weekend. Their relationship is very serious. Vanessa lives with Zac in Byron Bay." Sounds like a bot, but fair enough.

So, yeah, seems like it's all chugging along just fine. Could it be that tabloids aren't really the most trustworthy of news sources? Who would've thought?
