Just when we had all but said goodbye to Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks' relationship, we may have called it too early.

Two weeks after the pair unfollwed each other on Instagram - sparking breakup rumours - the actor and the model have been spotted in Byron Bay together.

In pics published on Daily Mail, the 30-year-old Hunger Games star and his 23-year-old girlfriend, spent some time at the beach. Gabriella sunbaked while watching Liam and his brother, Chris, surf. LUCKY GIRL. Damn.

We guess it's all happy campers, although Liam's ex-wife, Miley Cyrus, certainly got the internet talking last week when she celebrated the third anniversary of her song "Malibu" which was famously released as a love song for her then partner.

It certainly seems like a strange thing to celebrate considering their split in August of last year wasn't exactly amicable.

Could Miley be sending Liam a message, or does she just really love the song? We mean, it is a banger.

While we don't exactly know what's going on behind closed doors, we wouldn't hold out hope for a #MIAM reconciliation anytime soon. Although, stranger things have happened...
