WATCH: Liam Payne's Shady Comment Just Revealed That Zayn Malik Isn't Returning For The 10-Year Reunion
We are mere months away from the biggest date of our millennial generation: the 10-year anniversary celebration of One Direction.
Come July, the global phenomenon boyband will be turning a decade old (can you believe it’s been that long since they formed on X Factor UK?).
Liam Payne revealed in an Instagram Live on April 19 that the boys are trying to arrange their first group FaceTime – can’t be an easy task with Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam’s hectic schedules.
“You can come and fill in for Zayn. Join the band,” Liam told DJ Alesso. Oop, looks like Zayn has been dropped from the group plans.
Liam also mentioned he has been in a bit of hot water with the group for revealing their anniversary plans.
“I can't say too much. Louis told me off for revealing a bit about our plans the other day. So, I had a group telling off on the group chat,” he told Alesso.
He previously let slip to The Sun that the group was plotting at least ~something~ for the occasion.
“We've got a ten-year anniversary coming up, so we've all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” he told the UK publication.
“There's a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around… but more than anything it's just been a real good time for us to connect together again,” he said.
Well whatever it is they’ve got planned, we will be counting down the seconds to see at least four of the boys back together.
Although, we hope by now Zayn can be celebrated for his time in the band.
