Kirsten Dunst Goes Full Savage, Doesn't Give A F*ck About The Spider-Man Reboot

...

Kirsten Dunst has been a Hollywood mainstay for over 20 years now, but one of her more recognisable roles is the OG Mary Jane in the Sam Raimi-directed Spider-Man trilogy (from 2002-07). Now, some ten years later, the franchise is copping another reboot starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton and Zendaya, but how does Dunst feel about the remake? Three words, fam.

"I don't care."

Yep, that's what she told Variety about the reboots.

"Everyone likes our Spider-Man. C'mon, am I right or what? Listen, I'd rather be in the first ones than the new ones."

Tell us how you really feel, Dunst.

In the same interview, she also got pretty candid about the fact that she was asked to lose weight for new film The Beguiled by director Sofia Coppola, who she had previously worked with in 1999's The Virgin Suicides.

"It’s so much harder when you’re 35 and hate working out,” she said.

She also made note that filming in Louisiana - aka fried chicken central - influenced her decision to refuse to drop the weight: "I’m eating fried chicken and McDonald’s before work, so I’m like, ‘We have no options! I’m sorry, I can’t lose weight for this role.'"

Get it, girl.
