Kendall and Kylie Jenner have gone against coronavirus restrictions again, this time by spending the fourth of July in Utah with a group of unmasked mates.
In doing so, the Jenner sisters went against a) California’s ban on non-essential travel and shelter-in place order and b) the state’s recommendation people avoid prolonged, unmasked contact with those outside of their households. Some pretty simple restrictions put in place to stop the spread of the pandemic that’s claimed over 289,000 lives in California alone.
Don't get us wrong; these guys are far from the only celebrities who have gone against lockdown restrictions – Hailey Bieber, we're looking at you – but they are arguably the most blatant about their disregard for the rules.
The pair spent American Independence Day and the following days at swanky Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point. Their Instagrams show the two with their mates hiking and swimming – all the while not wearing masks.
The trip comes after Kendall took a seven-hour road trip to Sedona, Arizona with Devin Booker back in April, a mate who wasn't in her household, and Kylie headed to Wyoming with the rest of the KarJenners to gather to celebrate North’s birthday in June.
Also last month, Kylie copped some online hate after she attended a party for BFF Anastasia Karanikolaou’s 23rd birthday and afterwards hit up LA club Bootsy Bellows. Again not allowed considering that whole, you know, shelter-in-place order. Given how serious the situation in America is right now, it's frustrating that for some people in positions of privilege, the rules just simply don't seem to apply.
