Surprise: Kim & Kanye West's Divorce Will Feature Heavily In 'KUWTK'

A new source confirms what we all suspected: Kimye’s divorce will have significant airtime on the final season of E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The end of Kimye is upon us, and if you're looking for more details on the reported split, you're in luck. According to a source close to the family, the divorce will be a key storyline on the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, due for release in the second half of 2021.

While Kanye's no stranger to the public eye, he's apparently "less than thrilled" at the decision to feature the ins and outs of their marital problems on the show.

A source told Page Six that Kanye has been "sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long while. Especially her mother, who looms large in all big decisions she makes." Shots fired.

As for Kim, the decision to feature the divorce on the show is no doubt a strategic one, giving her the chance to fully own the narrative.

"Kim wants to control the PR campaign of the divorce and she was blindsided by leaks about the divorce reports," a separate source told Us Weekly.

The source added that Kim and Kanye's divorce settlement negotiations are ongoing, and she wants them to be finalised before formally filing.

Post-settlement, sources revealed to Page Six that Kim is ready to move on with her life and focus on her businesses and prison reform efforts.

"She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy shit, and she's just had enough of it," the source said.

Kanye, meanwhile, has been spending most of his time in Wyoming, batting off increasingly bizarre rumours.

Those interested will find out more about the split (or Kim's version, at least) when the final season of the show airs later this year. The family officially wrapped on filming the show earlier this month, and signed off on the experience via a series of posts on social media.;
