Jameela Jamil Has Slammed Pregnant Amber Rose For Promoting Weight-Loss Tea
Jameela Jamil is no stranger to calling out bullsh*t on social media. She recently participated in the slamming of The Telegraph’s “fatphobic” article against Nike’s plus-size mannequins.
Now she’s back to boiling up some water under pregnant Amber Rose’s weigh-loss tea spon post.
In a paid partnership Flat Tummy Tea Co, Rose posted to her Instagram a promotion for their Organic Pregnancy Tea that helps mums “with those bloated, nauseous, blah feeling days”.
The 35-year-old model, who is pregnant with her second child, was met with waves of backlash for promoting a weight-loss product for pregnant women.
But it was “F**ksh*t Detox” leader Jamil who really called out the moneymaking post saying, “So many women, with such big platforms, promoting such irresponsible f**ksh*t, that it blows my mind.”
This isn’t the first weight-loss product Jamil has slammed, having vocalised her disgust in the Kardashian’s support for detox teas and meal replacement shakes.
But her crusade is not ill-fuelled, rather trying to change the conversation of the celebrity relationship with food.
