Apparently Kris Jenner Is Scrambling To Kill A New Book Spilling All Of Kim Kardashian’s Sex Tape Tea

The devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder.

As the world struggles to come to grips with the coronavirus pandemic and all the uncertainty that comes with it, it’s hard to imagine that the celebrity wheel keeps on turning. But keep turning it does, and we figure that a little non-COVID-19 news just might be a welcome distraction for you all, so we’ll keep reporting on this stuff, important or otherwise, as best we can.

So, to that end, here’s the latest tea that’s being reported from Kardashian-Jenner land. According to Page Six, the family are taking legal action to shut down a book that is threatening to expose some of the not-so-pretty inner workings of the family.

The book, penned by Kevin Dickson – a former In Touch tabloid reporter who had close ties to the family up until their falling out around the time when Kim Kardashian split with Kris Humphries back in 2011 – is said to be a 'roman a clef' novel, which essentially means it’s a novel about real people and their real stories, but the names are changed. The book is set to cover the early years of the Kardashian-Jenner’s rise, and apparently includes some tidbits about Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape with Ray J.

Per Page Six, the book is called “Post Famous” and in it, the central character ‘Zia’ sells her sex tape for $5 million bucks at the urging of her mother… hmmmm. As we all know, Kardashian’s infamous sex tape with Ray J was released in 2007 by Vivid Entertainment, and Vivid's founder has confirmed that they paid Kim money to release it.

As you can imagine, the Kardashian-Jenner clan are reportedly unimpressed about the book’s existence, and are using all sorts of ‘strong arm tactics’ via their lawyers to shut it down. Page Six spoke to an ‘inside source’ who told them that at least one publisher has been scared off from a book deal with Dickson. “It wouldn’t be worth the hassle [for the publisher to go ahead],” said the insider.

Ooof! Apparently there is still interest from a few other publishers though, and even a TV adaptation deal remains on the cards too, so it looks like there's a good change that this book, and all the tea therein, could become public knowledge pretty soon. Watch this space.
