Brooklyn Beckham Announces His Engagement To Actress Nicola Peltz In The Cutest Way
Brooklyn Beckham has revealed he and girlfriend Nicola Peltz are engaged after eight months of dating, with the 21-year-old calling the Transformers actress his “soulmate”.
Alongside an Instagram photo of the pair in each other's arms, with a ring on Nicola's finger, the eldest of the Beckham brood wrote: "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx."
Nicola, 25, also shared the photo, writing alongside it: "you’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift.”
In the pic, Nicola is dressed in a yellow maxi-dress fans picked up was from future-mother-in-law Victoria Beckham’s spring/summer 2020 collection.
The former Spice Girl wrote about the couple’s engagement: “The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married!” To which Nicola commented, "i love you so so much victoria i'm the luckiest girl."
The Sun is reporting the couple are planning to have two weddings – one in the UK, where Brooklyn's from, and one in Florida, where Nicola's billionaire dad Nelson Peltz lives.
Earlier this year, the publication reported that the couple had decided to move in together in the US. The pair first met at Coachella three years ago, but only started dating seriously eight months ago. “This is a huge move for Brooklyn, but he feels strongly that it’s the right one,” the tabloid wrote.
“He and Nicola are closer than ever and they are both excited to take their relationship to the next level by sharing the same home. Nicola has been a big hit with the entire Beckham family – both David and Victoria have made it clear to Brooklyn how much they like her.”
