Elon Reckons Long-Time Mate Kanye Should Hold Off Presidency Bid Till 2024

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Elon Musk said Kanye West should hold off his presidential bid until 2024

In a recent interview with The New York Times, rocket guy Elon Musk said his mate Kanye West should hold off his presidential bid until 2024. Before revealing that the West-Musk bromance is not a recent phenomenon.

“I’ve known him for at least 10 years, maybe longer,” said meme-lord Musk. Apparently the two see each other about once every six months, and text “fairly often,” according to Musk.

“I’ve done my best to convince him that 2024 would be better than 2020,” Musk said on Kanye’s potential 2020 run. He went on to explain that in doing so, Kanye could avoid any accusation of splitting the Black vote with Joe Biden – something that would ultimately favour a Trump re-election.

When Kanye initially announced his bid for the 2020 campaign earlier this month, Musk tweeted out “You have my full support!”

Before seeming to publicly step back from his initial support after a Twitter user brought Kanye’s anti-vaxx and anti-abortion stance to Musk’s attention. “We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated,” Musk wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

However, it seems Musk is back on the ‘Ye train, albeit tentatively, after the two recently talked over FaceTime when Kanye was “about a third of the way through the tweet rampage,” Musk told The New York Times, referring to Kanye’s recent Twitter controversies.

“Just to see if he was doing OK, I sent him a text saying, you know, just checking on you, a lot of people are worried, just wondering if you’re OK,” said Musk. “And he called me back and he actually seemed fine. He video FaceTimed me and he was in Wyoming with a bunch of friends. He seemed fine on the call. But it sounds like things are, you know, not fine. There seem to be a lot of issues.”

In the same interview, Elon also denied having a threesome with ex-wife Amber Heard and her friend Cara Delevingne, as well as revealing he’s down to cage-fight Johnny Depp, who has recently been running his mouth when it comes to Elon Musk, or “Mollusk,” as Depp has been referring to him.

Depp also threatened to slice off Musk’s penis in a text-message rant to Lady Gaga’s ex-fiance, Christian Carino. “I'll show him things he's never seen before like the other side of his dick when I slice it off,” wrote Depp in the text-message exchange revealed to London’s High Court.

Don’t get too excited though. Apparently Musk was just joking around about the whole cage-fight thing, which is a real shame, as I would’ve paid every cent I had to see that fight.

As for Kanye, whether he heeds Elon’s advice may be a matter of force, not choice, as it seems he’s left it too late for a serious 2020 bid. At the time of writing, Kanye has so far missed the deadline to register as an independent presidential candidate in 11 states: North Carolina (March 3), Texas (May 11), New Mexico (June 25), Indiana (June 30), Florida (July 15), Oklahoma (July 15), South Carolina (July 15), Michigan (July 16), Maine (July 25), Missouri (July 27), and New York (July 30).

Candidates must also register with the Federal Election Commission, which, although doesn’t have a deadline, is something Kanye is yet to do with less than four months until Americans head to the polls.

According to publicly available records though, a candidate by the name of “KANYE DEEZ NUTS WEST” registered as a Greens Party Candidate in 2015. Make of that what you will.
