Please Enjoy Watching Megan Thee Stallion Win A Grammy Accompanied By Beyoncé

A Grammys award speech accompanied by a coy Beyoncé? Megan Thee Stallion can cross that one off her bucket list.

It's fair to say that Megan Thee Stallion has been an absolute joy to watch at this year's Grammy Awards. Not only does the 26-year-old Texan have one of the best reactions to winning awards on this side of planet earth (ok yes, she probably ties with Minari star Alan S. Kim) she also accepted a Grammy with none other than our lord and saviour – Beyoncé – hovering closely by her side.

Megan and Beyoncé made history as the first pair of women to nab a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for their remix of "Savage". As they walked up to the stage, Beyoncé stood to one side while Megan took to the mic to give her pre-prepared speech, speaking of growing up idolising the gracious Queen Bee in the process.

I'm not sure how it would've felt to have Beyoncé standing next to you as you read off your Grammys acceptance speech, but I imagine it's a bit like winning 'best playwright' with an unbothered William Shakespeare in tow.

Megan also takes home the 2021 Grammy for 'Best New Artist', a win she responded to by bursts of screaming that were punctuated by dropping her head in laughter. She's one of us, you guys.
