Nicki Minaj Had A Baby! Shares Congrats Notes From Beyoncé & Kanye

Nicki Minaj has announced she’s given birth to a baby boy.

Nicki Minaj has officially got a mini-me.

The rapper announced today she and husband Kenneth Petty had welcomed their first baby together – a little boy. In an Instagram gallery, the 37-year-old shared pics of notes and gifts she'd gotten from the likes of Beyoncé, Winnie Harlow, and Kim & Kanye.

"Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time," she captioned the gallery. "It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide worl."

Bey had written: "Onika [Minaj's real name], Welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family. B." Kim and Kanye wrote: "Congrats! We love you!".

At the start of October, TMZ had reported Minaj had given birth on September 30, but the hip-hop icon had yet to confirm the news herself.

Minaj first shared that she was preggers back in July, posting a series of colourful snaps of her cradling her baby bump on Instagram. She and Petty were hitched in October 2019. Earlier that year, she'd said on her show Queen Radio: "I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I'm there, I don't want to compromise that for anyone or anything."

It's been a big year for new bubs in the pop tunes world. There was Zayn Malik's baby with Gigi Hadid. Katy Perry's with Orlando Bloom. Ed Sheeran's with wife Cherry Seaborn. And Usher with music exec Jenn Goiocechea.
