The First Trailer & Release Date For Chris Lilley's New Show 'Lunatics' Have Dropped
It's been a MINUTE since we've had fresh material from Chris Lilley, but we think his new project will be worth the wait.
Today the first trailer for the comedian's new show 'Lunatics' has dropped, introducing fans to a whole cast of original characters. Sorry the old Ja'mie King can't come to the phone right now, why? Because she's dead.
The 10-part series will be available to stream on Netflix from April 19 (yep next week) and from what we can see Lilley is returning with the same Australiana humour that made the world fall in love with We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High. Let's just forget Angry Boys even happened, yeh? Cool.
In the line up there's Quentin, a real estate agent who comes from a family of big booties; a horny, meme-making pre-teen named Gavin; a down-and-out former pornstar and Keith Dick, a fashion designer with a sexuality disorder.
There's a lot to unpack but it wouldn't be a Chris Lilley production if it wasn't a complete and utter madhouse.
It's fair to say we are keen and ready. Do your worst/best, 'Lunatics'.
