The Vampire Diaries’ Resident Spice Lord Ian Somerhalder Was An IRL Bad Boy & Lost His Virginity At 13
Well damn, that’s pretty crazy. Ian Somerhalder was blatantly asked at what age he lost his virginity by SiriusXFM’s Andy Cohen this week. And his response? 13. Thirteen. One Three years old.
“It was fun! When you’re 13 and you’re a boy or a girl, boys are pretty on it,” he said, before divulging in some serious family secrets.
“I had an older brother – my brother was seven years older than me, so he taught me a lot – and he was quite a Casanova… He used to have girls in his bedroom all the time and what I did was, I went into the bottom corner of his window and I pinched the venetian blinds. I pinched the blinds down, so I’d have a clear view,” he told Andy.
We would kill to hear his brother’s response because that’s a bit ‘howyadoin’.
According to the chat, he lost it to a 16-year-old and has zero regrets.
Circumstantially, Ian was modelling at the time and that’s arguably an “accessible” environment, as E! News puts it.
He obviously isn’t the only star to lose it so early. Johnny Depp revealed to Rolling Stone he lost his at 13 as well, and Robin Thicke also joins that club. Do we want to even talk about Chris Brown claiming to lose his at 8?
Everyone is on their own path and there is no definitive age for these experiences. Just as long as you’re comfortable and cared for – that’s the most important.
