Wine Weekend, Anyone? Jetstar’s Doing A Flash Sale With $59 Sydney-Adelaide Flights

Time to start planning that weekend in the Barossa because with Jetstar’s current ridiculously cheap flights, you’ve got literally no excuse.

Yep, to celebrate the very, very good news that as of today, SA’s borders are now open to folks in NSW, Jetstar has launched another one of its fabulous flash sales – this time lasting for 36 hours. And while it kicked off at 12pm yesterday (Wednesday), you’ve still got a few more hours left.

Just a heads up, given SA’s border restrictions relaxing, we have no doubt the most in-demand flights will be the Adelaide-Sydney route. Priced at a dirt cheap $59 one-way and with only 5000 to go around, they’re sure to go quick.

The easing of border restrictions between the two states was announced yesterday, along with news Queenslanders would be allowed into northern NSW as of October 1. Last week also brought the news that those living in ACT could travel to QLD from September 25.

To keep up with the soon-to-be-increased demand, Qantas and Virgin Australia have also responded to the updates. Qantas’ daily service between Sydney and Adelaide – a route cancelled back in July – will be reintroduced from today (Thursday), reports news.com.au. Virgin Australia has restarted flights between Canberra-Adelaide, as well as increased flights on Adelaide-Sydney and Brisbane-Canberra routes.
