Kylie Jenner Duetting ‘Rise & Shine’ With Justin Bieber Is A Cultural Moment To Define This Decade
The most culturally iconic charity event has taken place, and all thanks to Justin Bieber – who would have thought.
Biebs and Mrs Biebs, Hailey (née Baldwin) hosted a charity night at a Los Angeles art gallery and got The One. The Only. The Lady Herself. Kylie Jenner to perform her infamous ‘Rhise and Shine’.
Justin performed an acoustic set in the curated gallery for LIFT Los Angeles and Inner-City Arts, before getting Kylie on the mic for a short but momentous performance together.
Prepare yourselves, because her live show is almost as good as the original.
Did someone say a fully-fledged pop artist? We think a Grammy nom could be in the works for this duet.
But wait, it does not stop there.
Let’s rewind and take a look from another angle, where we can see Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith going absolutely BoNKeRs for the song.
They too knew just how ~I C O N I C~ those three words were.
But again, it DOES NOT STOP. The night also featured JB throwing back to his first hit, ‘Baby’, so those OG fans can froth over his 2019 revival of the tune.
And then there’s the other iconic duet being rebirthed: Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber on ‘Never Say Never’.
Okay, where was our invite?
If this is not the most decade-defining musical event on the planet, then we don’t know what is.
Plus it also dredges up the good old days that Jaden and Kylie used to date – how could we forget that?!
Anyway, with mere days until we clock over into 2020, there is little doubt that something could top this. Perhaps a Christmas album from the three… Or a pop-up Christmas card that plays the duet…
Or maybe a global tour announcement for the breakthrough pop star Kylie – we cannot get her "song" out of our heads.
