Reports: Demi Lovato Is ‘Completely Embarrassed’ By Ex-Fiancé Max Ehrich
The airing of Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich's dirty laundry continues, with Demi apparently now super ashamed of Max's social media antics.
Demi Lovato is apparently “completely embarrassed” by her ex-fiancé Max Ehrich’s recent Instagram Stories – and fair enough.
If you aren’t up to speed with the latest on their breakup, here’s the deal: shortly after their split was announced via a “source”, Max claimed he’d only found out about it through a “tabloid”. Another source, clearly from Demi’s camp, said he was “lying”.
And while it should’ve ended there because it was already getting incredibly uncomfortable, Max then went on to accuse Demi of allowing him to be “bullied” by her fans and asked them to “Please stop trying to thank you, next… Me.” Make. It. Stop.
Demi (reportedly) agrees. A source close to her told E! News, “Demi wants no contact with Max at this point. She is completely embarrassed at the way he’s been acting and putting their relationship on blast via social media. She wants nothing to do with him.”
According to the source, Max has “tried to reach out” to Demi and is “in denial” their engagement is over. The singer’s also worried about his “erratic behaviour” and very much “does not want the situation to escalate.”
"Demi is completely done and doesn't want to see him again at this point," the source spilled. "She can't believe she fell into his trap and is really upset over it." As for how she's doing now, a week after the break-up announcement, the source said: “She’s been spending a lot of time with her family and friends to help heal from this and they are all keeping her occupied and rallying around her.”
The couple started dating in March this year and got engaged on a beach in Malibu in July.
A source told E! that it was while Max was away filming a project in Atlanta that Demi realised "she didn’t know who Max truly was and didn’t think he had good intentions". Coincidentally (or not?), it was also about the time fans unearthed old tweets of Max's in which he spoke about celebrities he crushed on – one of them being Demi’s former co-star Selena Gomez. Some old tweets about Ariana Grande and Gigi Hadid were apparently in the mix, too. Awkward.
Meanwhile, we’re sitting here wishing Demi and Max had taken some more photos together; we’re tired of using the same three for these updates.
